Originally he was going to be wearing a kilt (sprawled out a la Toastie’s request haha) But then it’s a bit short at the moment (not to mention I think i’m going to avoid tartan since it’s like… a family thing and I don’t wanna DISRESPECT even though this character IS Scottish. It’s half just a punk thing for him I suppose? Bit of column A, bit of column B..)
I decided halfway through this that I wasn’t in the mood to paint after all but then I picked up on it again… but then I had homework.. and bed…
SO ITS ANOTHER WIP have a dude in a skirt for now aw ye.
So I guess I decided to push myself into the attitude I used to have when it came to art, ‘I can do that- I can do better than that!’ instead of feel shit some more about things not working out.
Borrowed a pallet from this lovely set and practiced some face and lighting. Very rough but I feel a little more relaxed I guess. Still making the same kind of faults as usual though.. ahh more practice to come. Some time that isn’t bed time I suppose.
